Is the email really free?
The email service is free with both methods in the guide. You do need to buy a domain name, which usually costs £5 to £15 a year. No reputable company gives domains away permanently.
Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can copy and paste, you can follow the guide. The hardest part is pasting a few settings into your domain's DNS page, and the guide shows each one on a drawn screen.
Which method should I choose?
Choose Zoho Mail's free plan if you want a separate business inbox for up to 5 people. Choose Cloudflare with Gmail if you want your business mail inside the Gmail app you already use. Page 5 of the guide has a two-question flowchart.
Will it work with Outlook or Apple Mail?
With the Cloudflare and Gmail method, yes, through Gmail. Zoho's free plan works in the web browser and the Zoho Mail app, but not in Outlook desktop or Apple Mail.
Do you need my passwords?
No. We create your accounts, then send you a temporary password through a one-time secure link, never by email. You change it straight away and add your own phone for security. We move the domain into your own account, so from then on only you can get in.
I already have a domain. Can I still use this?
Yes. Skip Stage 1 of the guide and start at Stage 2. If your domain already has email set up, the guide shows which old records to remove.
Can I get a refund?
For the done-for-you service, you can cancel within 14 days. If we've already started at your request, you pay only for the work done and for a domain already registered in your name. For downloads, you agree at checkout to get the file straight away, so the usual 14-day cancellation right doesn't apply. If a file is faulty or doesn't match its description, email us and we'll fix it, replace it or refund you. See our terms.
